Luxor East & West Bank: 3-Day Ancient Thebes Immersion
Luxor holds roughly a third of the world's ancient monuments. This program splits East Bank (temples, palaces, markets) from West Bank (tombs, mortuary temples) so each day has a clear rhythm rather than a monument-a-minute rush.
Day by day
-
Day 1
East Bank: Karnak & Luxor Temple
Morning at Karnak Temple's Hypostyle Hall — 134 columns, some 21 metres tall. Afternoon at Luxor Temple, connected to Karnak by the recently reopened Avenue of Sphinxes. Evening at leisure by the Nile.
-
Day 2
West Bank: Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple
Cross to the West Bank for the Valley of the Kings — three tombs included, with the option to upgrade to Tutankhamun's or Seti I's tomb on-site. Continue to Queen Hatshepsut's terraced mortuary temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Evening felucca sail at sunset.
-
Day 3

Early risers can add a hot-air balloon flight over the West Bank necropolis at dawn. Free morning to explore Luxor's souk before drop-off.
