White Desert & Bahariya Oasis Overnight Camp
Five hours southwest of Cairo the road runs out of adjectives: the Black Desert's volcanic cones give way to the Crystal Mountain's quartz ridges, and then the White Desert — a valley of wind-carved chalk mushrooms, icebergs and animals that turn gold at sunset and blue-white under the stars.
Your Land Cruiser team sets camp among the formations: carpets, cushions, a fire, and a Bedouin dinner as the desert fox makes its shy rounds. Day two returns through Bahariya's palm groves and hot springs before the drive back to Cairo.

Day 1
Cairo → Black Desert → White Desert
Pickup 6:00. Fayoum road south, lunch in Bahariya oasis, then 4×4 through the Black Desert and Crystal Mountain to reach the White Desert formations for sunset. Camp, Bedouin dinner, stargazing.

Sunrise, hot springs & return
Sunrise among the chalk sculptures, breakfast at camp, Bahariya hot spring stop and palm-grove drive, back in Cairo ~19:00.

No facilities at camp beyond what we bring — that's the point. Phone signal disappears for ~18 glorious hours.
